It never made sense to me as a kid, that we ‘came down’ here to learn ‘ultimate truths’ and decade after decade we must RE-LEARN the same thing over and over again, so that you came here to get it ‘right?’

As if, nothing changed? Nothing expanded? Nothing grew?

As if art would stop because we ‘discovered the truth.’ As if beliefs would not change in society because they were unshakable. That there would be no more paintings, no more mathematics, no more science, no more literature because we already discovered what needed to be discovered.

But here’s the deal. There never was a masterpiece or final product. Because YOU, you beautiful art work, you beautiful expression of the highest form of creation itself, are never done, are never complete – infinity has no beginning or end. You will always want to create, have new desires, explore new concepts, explore new dimensions of yourself, you will do this until your last breath when you decide, “I am done playing this persona in this body. Let’s try a fresh new perspective.”

You truly are existence experiencing itself. You are Gods exploring and creating the new, all day, everyday.

I know many talk about goals in the New Year, but you know what?

Goals can be empty.

Goals are about getting from point A to point B, then it is about the person becoming and realizing a better version of themselves or the discoveries they make.

When I played baseball, it was not about hitting it out of the ballpark. Although that was fun! But what was more fun for me was the experience of going up to bat and honing my skill set.

It was the moment when you are up to bat and you just tune into you and all that is. The way the bat feels in your hand, the sweat in your hands, the air in your face, the way you kick the dust at the plate to create your groove. And then, you have this strong opponent or ‘pitcher’ throwing ‘the best’ at you and you stand there and even before the ball leaves her hands, you know exactly if, ‘IT IS YOURS!’ If this is the one. You can feel the excitement. You don’t care about what anyone else is thinking, everything goes silent even though your team members are cheering for you. And when you smack it, and hear that crack of the ball off your bat, you don’t care where it goes, or ‘what the outcome will be,’ you just run! And you run, and run, and run. And you known what flips people up, they look around, they try and figure out where it is going while they run. That slows you down. You just run.

Because, you can call it, you know you hit a homer even before the physical experience ever happens.

What is that?

That split second where eternity lives.

That split second where you know the odds.

Where you know exactly how it will feel even before the ‘evidence’ shows up.

Well, you figure it out.

I know exactly what it means for me.

Find the space between the ‘gap’ and know that within the ethers lies all that is. And all that is, is you! That is called, being tuned into life force.

So as we approach this New Year, and I know many people have the debate of goals or no goals.

I don’t care if you set goals or not.
If it works for you, do it.

I entertain you with this thought: What if, you set desires, that come naturally to you anyway, like breath, thirst and hunger. And your body, or heart, sends out a pulse, without you even being aware of it, and you just get out of your own way, tell your physical mind to heighten its senses and look for your carrot. Look for your excitement and just BASK IN IT as you jump into the abyss and just f**kin’ own it!

Because you know, your higher self, your soul, that which we call eternity is drawing you near, and near, and it is just getting you to move! It’s like a fine baked pie sitting by an open window, luring you into more of who you really are, saying ‘this way,’ because it knows the ecstasy and excitement you will find as you discover that which you truly are and why you came here!

Be it your career. Be it your love. Be it your lovers. Be it your health.

All I ask is that you be Happy.

Just be happy everyday, if you can. Decide that, as you shift from experience to experience, you will extract the BEST of that experience because if you do, in time, the BEST will reveal itself to you.

So, in this New Year…

Explore you.
Explore you through the key players that come into your life and made a prior agreement before you even entered this physical body.
Explore you through the best of them.
Explore your happiness.
Explore your genius.
Explore your lovers.
Explore friendship.
Explore love.
Explore your breath.
Explore your consciousness.
Explore the relationship between you and your eternity.
Explore the cosmos.
Explore this planet Earth.
Explore the paradox of life, with the slight angle towards the positive.

Be so curious about you and your ‘carrots,’ that you dare follow your natural instincts. Let your physical mind make an agreement with your higher mind and say, “I am all in. Let’s play and work in concert. I will now tune into the impulses you provide me and I will ACT ON THEM with integrity and the best of my abilities. I will ACT ON MY HIGHEST EXCITEMENT.”

Be brave.
Be bold.
Be curious.
Play more.

And see, at the ‘end’ of the rabbit hole.
You will find and discover, a whole new you!

Because you are perfectly evolving, you are the unfinished masterpiece. The unfinished play. Forever evolving and diving more into you!
And because you are the eyes, ears, mouth, tongue, nose, of the universe, the universe expands BECAUSE OF YOUR EXPERIENCE AND UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE! You add to it, you grow the cosmos!

Because you lived your life, unapologetically. By letting go of all fears.

And if you experience the feeling of ‘fear,’ that is okay, just don’t fear the fear. Be okay with fear. Be curious about it. Be fascinated with it! What is it telling you?

Be okay with it not making sense in the beginning, for you were only given a piece of the puzzle. As you follow your excitement, and be your bliss, the bigger picture will reveal itself to you.

Because, we all know, IF your ‘future’ self were to talk to you in the ‘PRESENT’ moment, he or she would say, “You are gonna be okay kid. You have nothing to worry about. In fact, you will THRIVE! You got this & everything is going to be okay!”

So, you got this! Now go play!
